You are invited to join the BB&R Wellness Consulting team on Saturday, October 24th for the nationally acclaimed Achieving Optimal Health Conference at Georgetown University!

  • I know the conference is on Georgetown campus, but where exactly?

The conference will take place in the Edward B. Bunn Auditorium located in the Intercultural Center on the Georgetown Campus. If you are walking or taking a taxi please use the 37th and O entrance. The Edward B. Bunn Auditorium will be to your right after you enter the campus.

  • If I am driving, where can I park?

Limited parking will be available on a first come first served basis at the Southwest Garage (map). Due to a number of events taking place on Saturday around the Georgetown University campus, we expect significant traffic congestion in the area surrounding 37th and O Streets. We strongly suggest taking public transportation or ride-sharing services to the conference if possible. The best place for ride-sharing drop-off is at the Library Steps, 37th and N Streets, or at Prospect and 37th Streets, NW.
Beginning at 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Saturday, parking and access on the west side of Georgetown University will be restricted. Vehicular traffic on 37th Street, NW will only be allowed to travel south between P and N Street, NW. There will be no vehicular access to O Street between 37th and 35th Streets, or access to 36th Street, between P Street and N Streets. Traffic control officers will be in the area to navigate vehicles.

  • What should I wear?

    Casual, comfortable attire is recommended.

  • What should I bring?

You don’t need to bring much! You may want to bring a pen to take notes, as there will be tons of interesting information presented that you won’t want to forget.

  • Should I bring a lunch?

No. A healthy lunch will be provided!

  • Can I bring my kids?

Yes of course. Children ages 12 and under are admitted at no charge.

  • Can I volunteer?

Yes! Our volunteers are an important part of making this conference so wonderful. Please email therese@bbrconsulting.us for more information, or visit our volunteer sign-up web page here:
